Would recommend for: - Installation is simple, see youtube to find the videos - New product, which is not the case at Sony, who have had this problem I could see that their replacement was a room already used - Much cheaper than doing it at Sony and is certain to keep its data, again not the case at Sony as it gave me a refurbished ps3 (I was still under warranty) - Given the small price difference I recommend the entire optical block, plus it's simpler to install anything that the only lens.
