For adapter itself (which I now that have different relative), to make of an existing HDMI cable, a flexible connection for my EeeBox (only DVI), so I can connect at home on TV (HDMI) and the caravan on my monitor ( DVI). This works fine.
BUT
I had ordered at Adaptors namely as the product description DVI Male to HDMI Female. Supplied plug was to plug me. Two times I had to write to someone responded. Then I got a standard "Sorry Mail," and then I get back male to male. Ultimately, my money was refunded. But the time and the nerves replaced a no.
I can not recommend the goods (as it is all supplied correctly) before the seller so.
Addendum of 18/08/2013
I had made my order in late May. The replacement that I got, I had neither requested nor was it communicated. It was not even a delivery note or similar there. So you can say, I received goods that I had not ordered, which was addressed to me but.
Since I had already moved into the right goods from another dealer AND it was again to the wrong plug, this ended up in the drawer "you can use any time."
Now comes the absurd: We August and I get a reminder from Adaptors an unpaid order that I would have done supposedly in June. It took a while until I understood that it is meant the said replacement here (not ordered, not desired and was also provided with no bill).
I summarize times together:
I get the wrong goods.
It takes some mails until someone responds and a few more until I have my money back.
In the meantime, I have the right plug of another dealer
and is in my mailbox / was a replacement that I did not want to.
And this replacement is two months later called for a non-paid order.
What I therefore deduce from it:
The trader knows the difference between female and male connectors not.
Rather than sufficient to communicate with the client, he sends no sense u. Mind same wrong item again.
After that, he is forced but to reimburse (the first goods he has got back).
Now it eventually falls to the accounting that he has a negative balance.
Instead himself to take his forehead and times to reflect on their mistakes,
he sends the customer of the goods (which lacks now) received a reminder.
Finally:
I can goods which I did not order and when no erroneous wrong delivery can be seen (delivery, wrong address, etc.) easy to keep and use.
If I can follow a wrong delivery recognizable, I am only for storage and re-publication obligation (possibly shipping one then does not have to, of course, wear).
Even if it is in my view is rather point one, I have the seller offered the goods like hand over again to him, provided he pays the shipping itself.
Then was (again) silence in the forest.
PS: I know as Adaptors online shop with its own shop, as Ebay dealers and also here from Amazon. To date, there has never been problems. It has already delivered Anyway what I had ordered. But woe if the Lord (and I'm sure it is a one man show) times make a mistake .... then you have to watch that you do not pay the customer "the bill". [Where it should be embarrassing to him that he apparently sold 1000ende of plugs and the difference between male and female do not know]
