So I finally decided on a LG Optimus 4X HD, my wife I had an LG Optimus L7 and my sons each bought a LG Optimus L5.
That was not because I am so connected LG, no, that was the time of purchase the best for me each smartphone (in the price / performance ratio).
Now the technology in this field is very fast paced and currently there are some high-end smartphones that are mutually outdo.
So it is difficult to define a clear winner.
Of course, here, they also include personal taste and requirements.
My LG Optimus 4X HD has been replaced in February by a Sony Xperia Z, which, as before, the currently best smartphone for me.
Now I've got the new LG Optimus G and can advance to say that it is an absolute top class smartphone.
In direct comparison, at least in terms of performance, it stands for the Xperia Z in anything.
On the contrary, in some areas (speed over wireless connection, strangely only on Youtube, download and install apps, readiness and operating speed of the built-in camera), it is, subjectively seen, even a tad better.
Since me the exact difference very interested, I have carried out with two devices a benchmark test.
The Requisites were equal; Cache memory is erased and the two main power cables (power supply).
The Xperia Z achieved a score of 20,112 points (5 Stars), the Optimus G has a score of 19,026 points (also 5 star).
The exact results I have set among customers pictures.
One sees that the subjective impression does not reflect necessarily in the test results.
But quite clearly; the Optimus G's high-end!
For Comparison; a recent and really good Huawei G615 achieves a score 14,222 points and a standard device like the LG L5 has a score of 3,776 points in the benchmark test.
So I am sure that the "G" is one of the fastest smartphones currently.
Even the elegant design of the LG I find it very successful, you can see him at his class definitely.
Processing and quality impression are almost perfect.
The capacitive IPS display is also excellent.
A very good brightness and very sharp image quality.
The 4.7 inches of LG are already very big but the 5 inches of Xperia Z are in direct comparison (when both units are adjacent) already significantly greater.
I have adjusted to a photo among the customers pictures.
But compared to the FullHD resolution of Xperia Z definitely I miss any details.
LG advertises the "ZeroGap Touch Technology" and I must say that the feeling when typing is really very good.
I do not know what you could do better here.
The Xperia Z here feels but to no worse.
A highlight is the intelligent display, it recognizes (eyes) when you look at it and go does not switch off the display.
A useful property that does not offer the Xperia.
The integrated camera is also above average.
A high resolution of 13 MP makes in good light for brilliant recordings (excellent sharpness).
There are extensive opportunities and the triggering by voice (Cheese, Smile) is definitely great.
One advantage of the Xperia Z is the "Mobile BRAVIA Engine" (image enhancement) but only when playing on the device itself.
I have transmitted via Bluetooth Photos from LG on the Xperia and Xperia on the display you can see a little better.
Supplied with a high-quality headset is included with the music playback (as a music player) to sound very good level is possible.
Dolby Mobile is available but unfortunately there is no further Klangeinstellmöglichkeiten (equalizer, effects, such as the Xperia Z).
But, as mentioned, the sound is so very good.
The built-in speaker is better than the Xperia Z and also leaves a loud and clear music playback.
As actual music player makes the Xperia but a better figure.
The transmitter / receiver performance (also in the WLAN area) is very good.
What good is a high performance processor, when it is held back by a (preventable) poor power quality.
Here you need not to worry at Optimus G.
In its actual function as a phone, the "G" is also convincing.
Both speaking and listening are transferred in excellent quality.
Conclusion:
For me, the LG Optimus G is one of the currently most powerful smartphones.
The working speed is really impressive.
The remaining properties are consistently above average.
Those who place value on high performance, can not go far wrong here.
