Description:
Despite very good connection from Telekom router W723V-B with the repeater, and the 5 bar display on the device,
breaks the wireless connection to a device for 1-2 minutes off, although the device also displays 5 bar reception.
Even if I'm sitting right next to it is no longer see themselves, and then suddenly.
Tried everything, so install firmware updates, inSSDier to seek etc without affecting radio channels,
it's all set optimally, while the 310 breaks constantly from.
It is definitely not on the devices, the first place to see the yes, to the 310 breaks,
Second, it works perfectly, if they are directly connected to the router.
>>>>> UPDATE
Have been able to fix the problem by intensive self-experiments.
It is up to the encryption!
On routers and repeaters WPA2-Personal was adjusted in each case.
The Telekom W723V router in WPA2-Personal mode verschlüssel with Type AES.
The Fritz Repeater 310 in encrypted WPA2-Personal mode with CCMP.
Therefore, the disconnections.
Both devices now use WPA encryption with TKIP type.
All wireless devices had only New on the router and repeater log, that was it.
Now everything runs silky days stable!
And so it goes:
As described in the manual to the router,
So go with the Internet browser on fritz.repeater or on [...].
Then in Konfigrationsmenü left, there is a point-Fi, in there, then click Security.
It should now be clicked at the top of WPA encryption.
Then below WPA mode: WPA (TKIP) you want.
Then top right UNSUBSCRIBE, and that was it.
I have additionally joined the assumed by the router repeater names nor the additional REP added.
Now, the device no longer get mixed up with two equal-Fi networks,
and you selnst easily log into the respective stronger.
It's easy:
Go left on system Konfiguratuionsmenü, then there on REPEATER-NAME.
Edit here as desired and click Apply remember;
above right Out, finished.
All devices have to reconnect, because the Wi-Fi is now so different, that's about it, Super running stable since then.
Greetings! TT
