The iPad mini with Retina display scores with:
+ Very high resolution, excellent display (font looks like printed)
+ Good size (7.9 inches rich actually made to reasonably represent sites in between to watch a movie, etc.) - applies here: what the iPhone screen is too small for the mini is perfectly adequate, while the display of a "large" iPad is basically useless
+ Battery life: with constant use should the mini with me usually just overnight on the plug; the iPad 2 is held sometimes only four or five hours before it had to the grid again
+ Low weight: comfortable to hold with one hand
+ Power: Everything runs without smallest bucking, everything is in stock (little to no waiting times)
Neutral:
o Price: like all Apple products rather high price (which is justified by the quality and thus can be considered neutral)
o Features: I am of the opinion that (regardless of the manufacturer, but especially at this price level) in the delivery of a tablet also should include a simple protective cover; this is only an option for purchase
Negatives:
- So I guess iOS and related products such as iTunes and the App Store, so annoys me the tutelage of Apple regarding the rights to use the acquired digital content (can not be copied any number of times, burn movies to DVD / Blu-ray not possible, etc.)
All in all I can highly recommend the iPad mini with Retina display. Personally wealthy due to the cloud solution the 16 GB internal memory completely out. The restriction on Wi-Fi (no 3G) brings no disadvantages for me, because I - if an exception must be - easy Kopple my iPhone to the iPad and the former use as a modem to get into the net.
