The operation of the device is very simple. There is the device a key for setting the intensity of the light flashes and a button to trigger the flash. A sensor measures the brightness of the skin before each flash is, (one for large areas and one for the precision application) integrated in each of the two essays. If the skin is too dark for the set intensity flashing does not work, and the intensity has to be reduced.
The time required is a bit higher than shaving. For the legs you need some practice about 10-15 minutes. The time for the previous shaving one has to factor in addition with the beginning but. Pain in the treatment does not cause the device. The test site is only slightly warm. Sometimes it can indeed pull something, but that tends to be rare and is not a big deal. Skin irritation occurred in me either.
Result
Right now I have half the initial phase of 2 months in which the treatment is to take place every 14 days, behind me. After a treatment should only be necessary every 4 to 6 weeks, and no more shaving.
So far, the success still holds within limits. In areas with denser hair growth I can hardly find results. The hair is a little softer and perhaps grow a bit slower, but regular shaving is still necessary.
Some progress has been made in areas with less dense hair. Here, the number of hair has not visibly reduced. Shaving is also still necessary.
After the advertising promises I could, just because I have the perfect environment for skin and hair color and can flash with the highest intensity, more expected. This may of course change. But at the time I am skeptical, because the whole thing would have to make a significant leap. For the time being I forgive three star, with a change in either direction in the future is still possible.
I'm going to first end the two-month initial phase and then bring the review to the latest version in mid-December.
Update 21/12/2014: The initial phase I now complete. In areas with less dense hair has changed since publication of the review did not do much. The reduction of hair growth remains at about 50 percent. In the areas with denser hair growth, in the results were hardly noted at the beginning, but the reduction is now also arrived at 50 percent. That's better than before but still not really satisfactory.
For smooth skin, I must continue to shave regularly. While this is now much easier and faster, but it will be added the additional cost of the flash so that the whole thing so far not really worth it. According to the manual I should now have to begin the intervals between treatments to increase. Because the result is not, however, sufficient, I'll still for at least two months beibehalte the two-week intervals, and to try if not still gives a clearer reduction of hair growth. The result I will then add to the end of February of this review.
