I run the Pioneer VSX-920 currently with 2 pairs of JBL Control One, a JBL Control Now as a center and a vicious subwoofer system 5.1 and am completely satisfied. Then I hear next to DVD and Blue Ray and lots of music and the large floorstanding speakers should get out of my living room, I looked for an alternative, the two demands. I think with the Pioneer VSX-920 I found it, it provides a brilliant sound and that too at a really affordable price. Last but not least the good performance in relevant tests and geschmakvolle piano finish have induced me to buy. I really like the Pioneer plays MP3 files directly from USB stick and even a setting has these compressed audio files sound upgrade. Thus, it is unnecessary to have an additional CD and MP3 player. The calibration of the speakers with the supplied microphone, as well as a plausible operation, menu navigation and remote control like me really well. The only downside I noticed so far after about 6 weeks of operation, it comes to light image noise (white dots in the image) when connected to the BD (Blue Ray) interface. This problem could however be solved by connecting the Blue Ray player to one of the other 3 HDMI interfaces. Since I anyway do not all use HDMI interfaces, that's no reason for me to separate myself from the Pioneer again and not to enter in my review the full credit, because on the whole, made me the Pioneer VSX-920 more than convinced.
