The only negative of the cast iron plate is the production / processing quality. For the price, which amounts to +/- 50 euros for a good piece depending on the offer, this is a bad joke. After a year of occasional grilling and regular cleaning (as described in the manual), now dissolves the coating. That's right, the plancha is probably enamelled! What the developers have just been thinking at Outdoorchef, I honestly do not know. The surface despite coating before first use of Plancha pretty rough ... 1/2 star deduction
But since I have time to get the board as a kind of adjunct "paid", bothers me not. So far I have found no parts of the coating in or on the food to be grilled. Should this ever be the case, it ends up by return mail when scrap metal and I order an untreated Plancha comparable size for less money. The price is set too high the original. 1/2 star deduction
