I have gained these parts, because I do not particularly the standard bright plastic protection like in the long run on the monitor of the D700. Somehow the camera always looks like not finished unpacking. I did not expect to get such quality and very easy to be fixed windows for both the monitor on the rear panel as well as for Mäusekino top right. Even the blister pack is high, the parts are carefully fitted. They consist of a very narrow but sturdy mount that fits perfectly with the camera and practically merges with it, because they also do not apply appreciably. The impression after the installation is, as just had the stock plastic part removed. That something else is taken its place, you only noticed if you know it. The glass makes a high-tech impression 6 times stratification is explained on the pack once more decidedly. The installation requires the removal of the rear cover sheet, which is completely easy to accomplish. After the part is placed so precisely as possible on the existing framework of the monitors (displacement is no longer possible - here you have to have a steady hand!), Pressed and ready. That the Monitor window previously should be thoroughly cleaned again, goes without saying. With microfibre cloth and sprayed Glasklar but of course no problem. See the parts, if they notice at all, as if they were made by Nikon for the camera. They lie flat and are completely sealed (no idea about the unfortunate bubble with various plastic films) and thus fulfill their purpose. Should they, incidentally, by force but even splinter, ensures the innermost of 6 layers - a thin plastic film - that the splinters are held together and not damage the original display. My conclusion: Highly recommended and very good value when you consider the prices of other small original parts for the D700.
These parts are also available for many other SLR cameras. If they are working there adjusted exactly and there is no reason for me to accept that this is not the case, of course, this recommendation also applies to them.
