The backpack (Dimensions: H48 / B36 / 35 / T17) has 3 compartments
- The front with an on interlining sewn "pocket": 5 closed down holders for pens (fit 2 each wing tips into), a fleece-lined and with Velcro to be closed bag, a smaller simple slide-in behind the pen holders and a large for interlining out ,
- A large middle compartment with special zip for attaching a lock.
- An even bigger rear compartment with special zip for attaching a lock.
The interlining is thin and in my backpack (black) in beige, would not be my choice of color but maybe.
Laterally there is a mesh pocket and a cell phone pocket with velcro.
In the bottom of a rain cover is integrated in a zipper compartment which however caused (orange-yellow) in the butt trade a slight bulge on the floor inside. One can this but also completely remove.
Between the two large compartments located above a large carrying handle.
The carrying system is well padded and fitted with 2 cross brackets forward. The top is sealed with a clip (orange yellow) in a small "whistle" is integrated - that is likely to remain rather unused)
Enclosed are a large padded computer pocket for a 17 "notebook and a smaller padded accessory pocket.
Use:
I use it mainly to study.
The backpack is very spacious and surprisingly light for 32 l One reviewer wrote something about "potato sack";.) Well, the pockets are very large and up to the front, there is no further input / departments inside. But for my purposes this is just practical, it is crammed with folders, books, tablet, Karteikartenbox, 2 bottles of water and snacks which quickly a - are and unpack. All larger parts and the overview is maintained.
Another pocket stitched on the lining of the glove bags might be convenient, but would also increase the weight again.
The front outer cover and the interlining could my feelings to be a little thicker the material here, but overall makes the backpack a solid and robust.
The rain cover with Rundumgummizug is handy only the zipper pocket at the bottom is a bit short, although you get him out easily, but needs something friemeln around him neatly back pack again. It is fastened with a clip in your pocket, you can completely remove him. Above it is fixed with 2 hooks in 2 rubber grommets above the straps.
But a normal short rain showers to survive even without, I've already tested.
The carrying system is very pleasant, with the same content as its predecessor, my only 15 year old backpack (Jack Wolfskin Berkeley) I have the impression that the load was "easier".
The carrying handle is also handy, the backpack will be maintained if you want to change it shortly.
The included laptop bag is indeed well padded but the zipper is a bit inconvenient, he leads a long and a short side - the long side can indeed be completely open but the short then stops a few centimeters before the 2nd corner so you a notebook does not have can take the short side. The accessory bag is very rounded at the edges which I think is rather impractical, but my ereader example fits into it. Currently I use neither.
If you do not need a lot of partitions inside, but you can use also good for leisure, getaway, hobby and sports this backpack securely.
