I wanted to save money and buy myself a low-priced set to TX40. This one has TX50, why not to have for turning in a seized screw all right sleeve.
Proxxon I like really very happy household. So I thought to have made a good choice.
I avoid Torx out from experience, where it goes. For the inevitable cases where one is simply dependent on Torx or gets purposed it, I wanted this set, because my other tools available with Torx-head only as bits and 1/4 "sockets. Since you have just too little force if one must anknallen an 8 or 10 screw.
In short
1. Steel quality is poor. Too soft, still inelastic. Has not the quality, as we know it from good keys ago
2. Key are painted! How cheap is please! I am staying with a hand tool never painted steel. Why not at least browned, when `s supposed to be already cheap?
3. it has a lot of game in the screw head. This damages the screws and also the tool significantly
4. the keys are somehow much shorter than expected. Who, for example, a 10 Allen key in mind - such a part would be much longer and more massive. That's not a negative thing, but I was there probably false expectations from the gut
So: I'll return the key phrase, despite initial use. This is not a good tool. Would the key grip in the screw head at least tighter I would keep it, but the parts that are simply nothing for me. There is nothing more terrible than vergnaddelte Torx and Allen screws. If correctly processed they have indeed usually exactly the advantage that little game for good frictional connection and ensures little wear. But the part can not meet these key here.
A pity, but I will now invest more but 10-15 for Wiha, Wera or other brand manufacturer.
