Packaging: compact packaging in more sober design
Instructions: I have to say I have to look a little to find the German side, as the country code are on the left side to the right (ie on the side inside as seen). 1 page DIN A5 per language mentioned in addition to the safety instructions mainly the battery function and sewerage systems. The description of the items for the fold-out page can be found separately in the back of the manual, I find failed this separation. There are, however, on the first 4 pages a very easy to understand illustrated instructions for use. The only thing I stumbled, the disassembly of the filter was it works better if you filter the accesses other than illustrated.
First Impression & Processing: The DeLonghi XLR 24LI is a real slick device. The color combination white / blackberry / perlbrombeer is mE very successful. Can be found at the floor nozzle white rubber applications, a rubber coating on the handle in blackberry. I only like clean wonder the white gum on the floor nozzle remains. The workmanship is good, hard to find scratches or the like. Only on the filter housing are some remains sealed from the filter net or baked (I do not know how to describe it).
Charging time: before initial use to the device as instructed 2.5 hours to load.. After 1h15. Illuminate all indication lights, which is intended to indicate the full charge of the battery. I let the unit still load the recommended 2.5 hours.. I must say for the initial charge is 2.5 hours. Thanks to the lithium batteries are unbelievably short (the models XLR and XLR 18 24 are listed with a first charging period of 12 hours in the guide). The XLR 24LI is additionally equipped with a Quick Charge function that enables a charging time of 30 minutes, a 5-minute operation. In the 30 minutes I'm probably eliminate with the hand brush quickly a small Maleur so I know the benefits of this function currently not fully assess the unit is to instructions fully loaded 22 min. In Turbo mode and 35 min. In the ECO mode can be used. 3 Blue LED lights indicate when the battery is empty.
Use: living room with laminate and sucked two cowhides. In ECO mode, the cowhides can suck well without these being imbibed or move great. Also bathroom rugs can easily suck. In turbo mode the suction is powerful on laminate and tile. The floor nozzle extends quite far under the bed more than my conventional vacuum cleaner. The Mini Vac is easy, very agile (he has a 180 ° joint at the floor nozzle) and easy to use, the cables freedom is awesome no tiresome swapping cables or Afterwards pull the vacuum cleaner more! However, difficult to reach corners and niches are a problem. Here I can briefly pull the tube with my conventional vacuum cleaner and suck the hose in the corners which is not possible with the DeLonghi Akkusauger. Among my closets I come conditions similar to my regular vacuum cleaner. As I stand in the living room two ficus benjamina, and this often lose leaves, the dust container with 1L volume is quite fast. However, the Mini Vac is strong enough to suck the leaves.
Cleaning: emptying the dust container is easy, just keep on the trash can and pour out. Hand or brush / brush can free the filters from the sucked dust. The filter can when heavily soiled rinse with clear water and use completely dry again.
Conclusion: sleek design, compact device that should be in every home a corner space in order to always be ready for use. Short charging time - even at the initial charging. The handling is good, the device is light and maneuverable by the 180 ° pivot on the floor nozzle. Unfortunately, polluted the beautiful white gum on the floor nozzle very quickly I also fear that the rubber coating is peeling at the corners. The Mini Vac can mE not be seen as a substitute for conventional vacuum cleaner, but it is awesome for quick cleaning in between: for crumbs in the kitchen, the ground of the shoes in the hallway, the wool mice in the corners. I will always have him surely at hand!
