I want to clarify that it is compatible with all Nikon cameras, the hot shoe is common to most camera brands (Sony being the only exception to my knowledge). Purchased in order to be able to trigger the YN-560 III without the flash pop-up, it serves primarily to adjust the flash settings (and even Speedlight groups) from this unit attached to my camera. I have not had the courage to read the manual, but it has very good tutorials (French, English in particular) on video websites. You have to go through one or the other, because otherwise it's quite complicated to synchronize with it just flashes controller groping. In short I recommend.
