Although in forums many complaints were reading about color and light spots of this monitor, I decided nevertheless to buy, because I have learned that only dissatisfied users (either those who had the misfortune to catch outliers or those who are basically satisfied with anything) Post in Forums. Who is satisfied that writes not as a rule. A good decision to risk buying! While it is true that in a darkened room and black representation of the screen some light areas (especially below left and right) can be detected, however, impact in practice not the display quality. I bought the monitor in erter line for image editing (LR 4) and am very satisfied. The high resolution provides most comfortable working with very good sharpness, color reproduction at the factory (sRGB) is quite useful, profiled to the monitor additionally (always recommended, I use Spyder 3), it is excellent. With the brighter spots that - as already mentioned - notice only in dark rooms and at a black screen, you can live easily. Other monitors with comparable key data (LED, resolution, screen size and color space) cost at least 3 to 5 times. The monitor was delivered very quickly (Sunday ordered Tuesday arrived) and comes packaged very well with dual-link DVI cable, VGA cable and USB cable. Caution: for control via HDMI the monitor can also provide only HD-resolution (1920 x 1080), thus necessarily connected via DVI!
