This case is easy to open. The disk is plugged easily. The cover closes well and firmly maintain the disk inside. Side performance nothing to say: the external drive is immediately recognized, it remains only perform a quick format (I have Windows 8). This is a USB interface 3, very fast (similar to a USB stick of good quality). Filling a 500GB disk in less than 10 minutes.
