After upgrading from Nikon D300 on Olympus E 520 & E1 for health reasons (weight of Niko equipment too high) I have to say: Olympus can build cameras and lenses - often neglected company - observed by me little
Kit lenses have a reputation for being so bad, not so at Olympus, here agrees the value for money and the quality of the optics.
* Very good imaging performance 14-42 even at maximum aperture
* Maximum aperture is distinguished from something soft, very good for portrait, saves expensive portrait lens
Recommended * Fade in landscape photos by 1-2 levels
* Therefore an allround lens highly recommended
* Super color fidelity in conjunction with Olympus E 520 Olympus E1
* 28-84 (small picture) the ideal lens for getting it thanks to very low weight - 190gr
* Is great in the hand and is ausballanciert on E520 & E1
* Unbeatable price compared to other manufacturers
* Used in conjunction with Olympus E520 and anti-shake performance with this camera even in poor weather and low ISO values
Supplement 10.04.2010
My Camera Park has changed and now I take pictures with the Olympus E3 and E620.
On these two cameras, the lens moves to its maximum power on both cameras require due to their features namely more power of a lens from, but,
and here lies the strength of the lens, the image quality "of the little ones" is always a top lens Spitzenmäßig.
Especially the E620 and the 14-42 are an unbeatable partner for always with equipment, quality, weight, size, image quality and so on ...
650gr. for the E620 with the 14-42, to the minimum size for a real SLR inclusive lens are unbeatable.
I prefer this system before each bridge camera or higher compact camera, have almost everything already had and tested in his hands.
The image quality of these small, lightweight DSLR equipment is (still) not be beat.
Who has the plus 40-150 is still under a kilo and traveling in one suspects any SLR with a small camera bag.
Highly Recommended
