I bought this processor to replace my fx-6100 and I must say it was worth it.
I use my computer mostly for gamble and stream.
WHY AMD:
Because here Intel has to insert (in this price range).
If you look at the power of a single processor core and Intel compares with AMD, it is found that Intel's 50% better there. Gaming benchmarks generally go better for Intel. But this is only because most games use just 4 CPU. There are few more full capacity (BF4, Crysis 3). That will change in the future though!
The Intels are much more expensive! For this price you get not even a i5 latest-generation.
Namely, when really auslastet all 8 cores of the CPU, AMD is BETTER. There is no 8-Kerner from Intel, which is approximately in this price segment. The new game consoles also have AMD processors. And why? Because these tasks have to do a lot at once and AMD the better for the price can. Benchmarks show that.
My experience with the FX-8350:
The processor is easy to install (Who does not know exactly how to Youtube videos should just watch). I been playing mainly Company of Heroes 2 (a current graphic intensive game) and streame it. And I have to say I can play this game in maximum quality and stream. The game uses only 4 cores, but that is sufficient. The remaining cores are used for streaming (streaming is very intensive rendering).
With this processor all games run which are on the market properly and there will also in future by the potential utilization of all cores.
THE COOLER:
It is relative. lamenting a lot about the included cooler. But I think that it is sufficient and even "like a jet takes off". Yes, he could be quiet, he does not bother me personally but.
CONCLUSION:
For this price, there is nothing better on the market.
