PS: The mobile phone was not bought on Amazon, but should nevertheless qualitatively make any difference.

The Lumia 535 will be sold in a small box in which (with fixed verbautem Micro USB port) are present in addition to the phone itself, the battery, the covering and a charger for the power outlet. A quick guide of the device is also down with with.
After assembly of the components is directly clear this is not a cheap junk. While the rear (in matt black) is smooth but very handy, so that the mobile phone is well in hand. The overall dimensions put the contrary nothing. For men with small hands or most women the device for one-handed operation will be too great - but for me it's just perfect.
The weight of the phone is also perfect for me. I always carry it in your pocket and less weight I'd barely notice it's there. Also in hand, I'd rather have a little more weight even though I would describe the Lumia yet as light. The difference to the other Lumias in the price segment takes man anyway / hardly was.
The display reflects as usual in such devices, but is not disturbing for me. Who wants to can buy for a few euros a glare screen protector.
If one removes the back cover, you can remove / replace the battery pack and there are the slots for the SIM card and micro SD card to the fore - all within easy.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has waived an extra camera button and has only so high / low volume rocker and the on / off button on the right side. Bottom of the device, the Micro USB port is for charging and connecting to the PC / Tablet / etc., Above the headphone output. The buttons have been described by some as about wobbly and cheap. I must say that I like them better than the 620, where they had something very stiff and strong, so sometimes you are not 100% knew whether you have pressed the power button right.
Technology / System:
I was already familiar with Windows Phone Lumia 620 by my previous, which has me but now brought to white heat.
The Lumia 535 runs incredibly smooth through the combination of 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, which I had not expected. Opening of Apps is faster than the 620 of equip - especially Whats App needed there sometimes 2-4 seconds in the loading screen. There are now highest 1-2.
Only the scroll on the home screen or through the app list would be "nice" something. While it all comes down relatively liquid, a minimum! However falter should be noted (this was not the case with the 620).
The biggest surprise for me was, however, the music app from Microsoft. I have the same micro SD card uses was already used in my old smartphone (Transcend 64GB - with about 60GB MP3 and WAV). My 620 came across regularly to the limits when it came to open the app or the long list view (several 10,000 songs). The Lumia 535 opens the app in The German Railways app took me previously min. 4-10 sec to open. Now the red DB screen can be seen more than 1-2 seconds..
The wifi works great. Had the 620 previously often only half the reception even near my repeater - is now receiving full and super speed (with IE). Anyone considering the phone due to lack of LTE not to pick up, the is recommended to see the exact speeds of LTE and the standard used in 535. Values are largely decisive for bigger downloads or videos you Streams. If that nich is so important, is not tell the difference because the internet connection is hardly affected by LTE. (At home DSL connection with laptop This is also the same - downloads running at 50 MB / sec, page structure still takes its time, depending on the server)
I touch problems after the update date a few (1x responded the display only belatedly to an input of a field, in addition unfortunately not working the wakeup by double tap on the display always. In combination this, I noticed that the touch reacts a little worse when the phone is not in their hands, but solely on the table).
Had in setting up the first mobile phones also some problems with the display, which made mainly to set up the Microsoft account a little more difficult. But in the normal course everything is actually alright.
Was surprised that the mobile phone but has a LED flash, which it definitely raises ever for me on the 630. (Did the 630 set with a family member and qualitatively almost indistinguishable from 535 down to the minimal sharper display.
Despite its small pixel density the display seems anything but bad. Even if for some who have worked with higher resolutions slight blurring be seen. (Did this effect, for example, on my four years alten15 "laptop without HD display to a Full HD monitor is connected. The HD monitor shows everything despite VGA connection razor sharp, while now, in contrast, the laptop screen somewhat washed out . acts Before I connected the external monitor was the laptop but subjectively sharper for me;)
Back to camera. 5 MP and lightning had my 620 previously. But I find the images with the 630 minimally better. Will try also upload comparison images. Of course, one must not expect miracles, but for occasional snapshots it should be sufficient. Perhaps the difference lies only in the settings in the Photos app ('ll check on occasion yet)
The voice quality is very good so far - has not yet been tested in the open air but only in buildings. My interlocutor was very clear to understand and sounded almost as if he were in the same room. Either the ambient noise were well filtered or there were actually no! This, too, I will test even more accurate.
Positive is also the built-in FM radio, which, however, infected headphones (any) uses as an antenna. Of course, many will say that you do not need FM on a smartphone, but I find it super. Since I only have a 300MB Flat for Mobile Internet I have a little economical with my volume to be (which is actually quite sufficient if you do not take on the go video and music streaming) and since has the FM for use on.
One negative point is that do not use the "gaze" to whom I had me accustomed. At 535 you have to briefly wake up the display to read the time, this was the 620 by setting the "gaze" not necessary.
I can not say much about the battery life. The phone came at 1/2-full battery out of the box and had to complete the establishment of all apps and trying out a total of about 3-4 hours at the end of now only 20% left.
Today the second day of the battery goes comically fast running out. Overnight it lost when the display is about 10-15% and today in several short uses an additional 20%. Will also check here if apps are the culprits in the background.
Edit: I read on the internet that the wakeup per double tap probably costs a lot of battery. Have it now time off and will see if anything changes.
Games I use basically as good as not, therefore, make no more exact search terms. (Only one pop-the-dots alluded - which ran very smoothly (even the touch reacted when wiping between points very closely)
On the whole, I am as I said very satisfied with the phone and would recommend it definitely continue. Clear you have to make some compromises in this price range - but who wants more can indeed pay more;)
