I have all speaker connections with these banana plugs. I have cable with 4mm². The pure copper wires, ie without isolation, can be just so to introduce into the sleeves, and then screw it bombproof. The two fittings are offset in height plus opposite. Nothing will leave. But the small set screws must be drawn very tightly, otherwise not cover sleeve can be pushed over the connector to tighten it. For 6mm² I would not recommend this Banana, unless you removed some copper wires, thus reducing the cross-section back to 4mm². For cable with 2.5mm², the wires should be turned over once, but is in itself not a problem, neither in the assembly nor in durability-tensile strength of the cable in the plug
