In my short list I have now finally the Sony Alpha 6000 and the Samsung NX300M closed. After reading countless tests and reviews were now ultimately the test of Ralfs Photo Bude to the NX300 the impetus for me to get the NX300M. In this test really only the lack of electronic viewfinder was criticized. Otherwise, the camera has been certified a good image quality and operability. Since the NX300 and the NX300M I actually differ only in the self-portrait function so opted for the NX300M.
The Sony Alpha 6000 may be a ticking better than the Samsung in many ways. But one has between these two models, but also a price difference of currently 250th This additional cost was not worth it to me. When upgrading from a compact camera I could on the missing seekers and the last ounce of forgo image quality. And I can after the first tests with the camera still.
After unpacking a expected a very valuable in his hand lying camera body. The kit lens I had imagined something valent with though, but unfortunately I have no comparative figures for other lenses. But it absolutely fulfilled its purpose and has to my taste a good imaging performance. Also included is a sun visor, straps, charging cable and-plug, and Lightroom 5 on CD-Rom.
The initial setup is straight forward. And to my surprise, you find yourself thanks to the comprehensible and clear menus quickly master the camera. Clear you have in one or another function first Look what the Samsung programmer so my, but the manual is quite usable, and Enforcers. And even still contains useful tips on image composition. That the manual provided in electronic form only is not as negative values I point as the best of my knowledge with most cameras or electronic devices now is the case.
After that, the camera on the first photo tour had to prove. And to my mind, I was able very usable images with the camera after a short time. Various parameters can be reached and adjusted quickly and the picture quality is impressive too!
The camera can also be operated via App. This I did but only briefly tried as there is not one of my application scenarios. It works however without any problems. However, it has few configuration options in the app itself.
One complaint I have after all. I would have still required a time-lapse mode. This is not integrated into the camera. But can, however, as I have read about connecting the USB port on a timer. I have not yet tried the but.
On the whole, I am very pleased with my camera choice. It meets all my expectations and it's a big difference from a compact camera. The ease of use makes it an easy transfer passengers and makes it a pleasure to experiment more. The camera brings the power for it with in each case.
I'm going to add a response if I notice other things.
In addition, feedback is whether the review was helpful, of course, welcome. I also happy to answer any question about the camera and its features.
With best regards
