I had 9 months ago bought two of these copies of the M500 480GB! (But now the MX100 512GB) One runs in a small mini-ITX computer, the other wanted to run not quite at the "big" PC. Employed not detected in the BIOS, also update to firmware MU05 brought no improvement. The traders exchanged two times, always the same. Apparently, an incompatibility with the motherboard. So I had approached me directly to Crucial. Telephone support was good and after nothing helped, I got to send to UK an RMA number to the SSD. Post needed 4-5 days, but after only 2 days (when the UN arrived UK) was because of the replacement, a MX100 with 512GB. The runs great! I call support and customer service! Ie each additional SSD with me and in a Crucial Relatives will definitely be! THANK YOU from me again to Micron!
