Here are a few facts that I previously could not be found here:
- As already mentioned several times, the two boxes must be connected together with a speaker cable. It requires, however, for only a box a power supply (This may sometimes have been different, 2009, was so).
- Came with a transmitter that each pair of speakers can sound on two pairs of boxing send. If you want to use three pairs of boxes, you need at least two transmitters.
- Transmitter / receiver of "JBL Control 2.4G" and "JBL WEM 1 Wireless Expansion Sets" are compatible. That's especially nice, since the sender of the WEM 1 also has high impedance speaker-level inputs so you can connect these stations also at any cheap compact system that do not have line-outs or pre-outs.
- The delay of the radio transmission is minimal. I hear no delay between the sound from the radio speakers in my kitchen and the directly connected speakers in my living room.
Plus my personal impression:
The radio links seem to work well in all my 50 square meters apartment with me. Short dropouts there are only very rarely.
Until the pit after some time switch to standby or I separate them from the network, comes from them is always a very quiet fine noise.
The sound is really bass-heavy as usual for me, but I find now that this sounds quite good. Who prefers connect individual boxes should instead just buy the "JBL WEM 1 Funkerweiterungsset", but goes so obviously more expensive.
The supplied wall bracket I also just fine.
I think the boxing great and was able to fulfill my dream of the same music relatively inexpensive in all the rooms of my apartment.
