Scope of supply:
==========
After unpacking the transmitter from the small cardboard box, I was surprised. It acts here much larger in the pictures, but is actually no bigger than a little lighter.
In addition to the well-to-understand instructions in English and German, the transmitter is still a connection cable (3.5 mm jack to RCA connector, approximately 20cm long) settled for the stereo and a USB charging cable (about 100 cm long) ,
I would have still wanted an adapter for the headphone output of an AV receiver, as it connects the transmitter into the headphone jack rather than via the RCA input, especially since this is often difficult to access with built-in appliances.
Specifications and my assessment:
=================================
- Bluetooth Version 2.1
- 10 meters range (is complied with, without obstacles and walls)
- Operating Time: 4 hours (If adhered)
- Standby: 80 hours (is complied with, in some cases even possible)
- Dimensions: 60 x 24 x 9 mm; For comparison Einwegfeuerzeug: 80 x 25 x 15 mm
- Weight: 15 g
Design and processing:
===================
The transmitter is made entirely of plastic, with a matte and non-slip surface. The button is located on the long side for turning on and paddocks.
The front side contains the micro-USB charging socket and the connection cable with 3.5mm plug, which measures about 7.5 cm.
Operation and coupling:
====================
The big advantage of this new model: It can simultaneously load and use. When operating with a TV that has a USB connector, you can leave the transmitter so permanently plugged and no longer needs to worry about a dead battery.
By pressing the button for coupling more than 6 seconds, lights turn red and blue LED. Now the transmitter for coupling is ready. Since I have some Bluetooth playback devices, I have the transmitter coupled with a total of 3 devices (headphones, in-ear headset by MPOW and Bluetooth speakers). The integrated memory of 8 device actually cope with it and the signal is then reproduced at the same time on all devices. This means that if you own multiple headphones, so several people can simultaneously watch a movie without disturbing the neighbors or wake the children. By double-clicking you delete the last paired device from the memory.
To play very different devices were used as an ancient MP3 player or my old stereo system, as well as my new Dolby Surround Receiver Marantz.
Sound quality:
==========
The sound quality is expected to be very good, whether listening to music or watching television.
It is, as it is written in the manual, a latency exists that is due to the Bluetooth technology, as analog signals have to be digitized so. But although I am very sensitive to latency, I have these perceived as not disturbing. If the lips open, is also immediately the tone.
Where it has bothered me was on my digital piano. Here, the transmitter is not to be used as sound and stop not fit even at low latency together.
Also, what I know from the analog radio transmission, noticed no noise even if the volume on the source was set low.
Conclusion:
====
For me, this Bluetooth transmitter is to really make the perfect complement to my Bluetooth headset all sources wirelessly. The sound is not worse than with wired headsets the same price class.
Although I am sensitive to latency, is me in this respect nothing unpleasant noticed, so I use the transmitter also for television. By coupling memory even several people can listen simultaneously.
