Initially, I thought the product was defective. But by pushing the test, I realized I had probably compatibility problems with the computer for which I bought these memories.
Both modules work well if they are alone, or variegated with old lower bar size. The two together make the computer crash (blue screen of death) randomly within a period of between a few seconds and a few minutes, more or less rapidly in the order in which I pluggue.
I preferred to take 266Mhz modules because the computer was originally so equipped. Nevertheless, it currently works with two 1GB modules, so a 266Mhz 512MB over a strip, which runs at 333Mhz. And it also works with 1GB plus 256MB to 266MHz.
