High quality also this mouse is processed and is very comfortable to hold. The size is not too small (compared to the "real" notebook mice), even a small trace could be bigger for me yet. Anyway, no reason not to buy. The black / silver version has a matte finish and the sides are rubberized, which provides a good grip. The mouse was indeed designed for the bed and that's why it surprises me why no quieter buttons were installed? The next big thing are so silent these mice and also to be expected for the living room well. Unfortunately, the keys in the M515 for me but are too loud at night next to my better half on my Windows Tablet something to surf and they have a high click sound that does not really suits me. The Mausradumschaltung is not Leisetreter and also a bit hard to press (hard to describe). The wheel also features a left / right rocker switch, with which you present in the browser and can spring back. But even that does not match the way I work (I use the toggle switch to the left / right scroll), but can probably be SetPoint software (24MB Extra installation ...) are the same as the top button is different (I have not tested).
Another argument I think, unfortunately, still on the underbody. Although the mouse glides well on textiles, a certain difference to the Teflonpads with (all) other mice on hard surfaces determine. It does not feel so "smooth" to. This new feature turns off the mouse when not a hand is on her. This is well-intentioned and is certainly one of the reasons why the batteries should last for 2 years, but exactly thus is not possible to work for me! Since I never seldom completely covering my mouse when using / with the palm, the mouse turns off easy. Although the sensors are very sensitive, but built only in the upper rounded portion and not. On the side walls or in the keys When I use my wrist rest at the table, I also grab anyway only the sides and the buttons and thus release not from the hand recognition. Here comes into play, that the mouse or a MIDI track is too small for my (average sized) men's hands.
Conclusion: Too bad. The shape and basic processing votes. Also, the battery consumption (probably) and the receiver. The keys and hand recognition but unfortunately not.
Love manufacturers (not just Logitech) - what's so difficult a normal, high-quality components (keyword: clicks) produce well-made mouse? I need installed any 10 configurable keys and face detection in the mouse. And no scroll wheel that brings me coffee. I would love to spend more money on a solid, high-quality standard mouse with nano receiver and long battery life (suitable for left-handers! ;-)) Pay!

Now that there are some reviews and not all have the problem with hand recognition, I would like to clarify it short. Everyone is welcome to his (physically conditioned) own style of working, what's also ok. With my style I touch the mouse at the rear at all, which is why the recognition is not triggered. I touch only with thumb and ring finger the pages forward in the key where no sensors are placed / were. This is reinforced by the 'Hama Mini Wrist Rest "pro"' (highly recommended by the way) and by the somewhat smaller design of Logitech. I use the mouse not only on the couch but also as a travel companion on the go. But even on the couch I'm in an elevated seating position and have the mouse next to me, which also does not allow directly to the back of the mouse, a laying on of hands.
So if someone has a different work style, can ignore the clicks and loves the flywheel, will be very happy with the mouse!
