For several weeks, we are owners of a new roof truss (Raising the Roof, Gaube, cultivation, etc ....).
The roof has been installed by a carpentry.
Now to 2 children under the roof and we decided the interior (isolating, battens, partition walls in post and beam construction, with planking GKB, embarrassed Electrical, offset floors, laying floors, interior plaster, doors set) to make itself.
Now I began to 5m long slats (50x30, 100x30, 60x40) tightening. To this end, a 10.8 V cordless screwdriver was used and it was very quickly clear that this works, but min. Means double the time and felt the 3-fold effort.
Makita is m. E. to a professional brand.
For this machine I decided mainly because of the above construction and because the offer compared with the EIA is very cheap at Amazon.
Now the performance of the machine:
So far I have drilled holes in wood, wood screws (wood screws and set screws easy to 6x120), drilled holes in masonry, partially with hammer action (the floor).
The machine power is immense, as expected.
In the fast stage 2, I recommend a firm footing, especially when working overhead.
The batteries are very durable and the charging time of 36min is absolutely realistic.
The adjusting screws 6x120 I had when I wanted to attach 2 slats (1x 40 and 1x 30mm thickness) on the OSB panel only switch back at the end of stage 2 to stage 1. But then again no problem.
I am very pleased with the acquisition of the battery Schlagbohrschraubers. Certainly extensive Bohrmaßnahmen through masonry or the like with the machine no longer difficult or impossible to perform (in this case given rise to a hammer drill with SDS is probably better), but to drill a simple hole in masonry or the like, to set an anchor is all male possible.
Now I am really looking forward when the loft conversion is finished and I can finally build a treehouse for our child. With the machine certainly not a problem.
PS: a long-term experience, I can not tell, unfortunately, because I've only been about 3 weeks now have the machine in use.
