Here is my detailed critique:
I wanted a wireless headset for a reasonable price, it seemed interesting because at the time of my purchase it was 38.45 instead of 69.95.
The main feature of this headset is that it works wirelessly using Bluetooth or NFC. This avoids having a wire drags on our arms all the time and especially to be able to move away from their PC without leaving the helmet.
Bluetooth technology running on a matched system, it is necessary to know the headset to the computer (or other Bluetooth device) before use, however a 3.5mm wired or USB can also be used if the pairing n It is not possible that will be greatly appreciated by people using a computer without administrator for example. In the conventional case where the user has full control of the computer, the connection is easily done in less than 10 seconds.
Having no NFC device at my disposal I did not test the connection with the headset. What I do know is that NFC does not require pairing as Bluetooth, but according to the instructions of the helmet it is still considered Bluetooth device, which does not solve A PRIORI the identification problem. In testing so.
As for the sound itself, previous reviews agree: this headset combines excellent bass. They are deep, they have a lot of dynamism, etc. Unfortunately this becomes problematic when one realizes that the highs are flat in comparison. In fact I've seen worse, but next to the bass performance, they are not terrible. Finally, the worst happens when one is interested in psychics. They are virtually nonexistent, and even detrimental to the overall harmony of sound.
I tested the headphones on different types of music: rock, classical, electronica, jazz ... I think the main use would be for rock music / metal or electro why the bass and treble are most important but not classical or jazz where all frequencies have to be in perfect harmony.
Finally, one last point a bit negative: the cushions will wrap barely ear which quickly becomes uncomfortable unless precise adjustment of the arch that takes some time. Being used to the Sony MDR-XB700, I had a little trouble getting used to lightweight these bags but not too annoying after a while.
CONCLUSION: I'm pretty happy with my purchase for wireless headphones at this price, but I think I was a little disappointed if I had paid the price without discount. This is a good headset if you want to listen to rock / metal or electro without the limitation of a wire, but I recommend it if you are a music lover who swears by the classic (example).
