Among the hundreds of different fans NB has now brought another to the market. What sounds like a publicity stunt "Bionic" sounds but really works. Compared to a Cougar Vortex HDB with 1200 rpm the NB is running at 1500 rpm a little quieter at the same air flow rate. NB offers some accessories, the rest start function, which is very important in blocking. Through the PWM connector can be fan of good rules by the bios. Overall, a good fan, but the conversion of Cougar, beQuiet or Enermax on this does not bring the increase!

Addendum: Unfortunately, the fan buzzing at 1,000 rpm, there's only the increase in min. 1,100 rpm.
