- UMTS router / modem in the attic, because only there sufficient reception
- Feed from the Ethernet port of the UMTS router into the Ethernet port of a dLAN adapter from the TL-PA4010P Kit - adapter into the socket in the attic
- TL-WPA4220 WLAN adapter / AP plugged into an electrical outlet on the ground floor and receives the inputted data of the router and Powerline network adapter out of the attic.
The network connection thus produced is stable and sufficiently performant but of course far removed from the suggested 500Mbit / s. For the described application, however, the realized performance is quite enough! Worried only the TL-WPA4220 (see separate review) - its local Ethernet port falls asleep again.
The reader will now ask where the second adapter TL-PA4010PKIT has been used. He was taken for testing only and for first configurations in operation - he is now as a reserve or for later further use in the drawer. Finally, my opinion: Not without techn. To take studies in operation, inexpensive compared to other providers of similar solutions. Can I therefore happy to recommend, though the advertised bandwidth is not nearly achieved. If one may speak to others reviews on comparable equipment belief that bandwidths but which also does not reach the start. Therefore: Price and performance are consistent in my view!
