Preliminary first the positives:
+ The player is relatively small and light.
+ The menu guide is nicely designed and easy to understand.
+ When playing Blurays the noise level is rather low. You hear about it only in quiet movie scenes.
+ Frequent updates of the firmware
the negatives:
- HDMI-CEC does not with my LG TV. This is probably because that is not my television from Samsung and since each manufacturer despite common standard their own thing brewing.
- The player reacts rather slowly. It takes some time until a Bluray has loaded or till he ever opens the drive. The search of Apps on the Store is also more of a torment.
- There is no function to randomly play movies from a USB hard drive (or I have the function simply can not be found). In addition, the player always plays only the films that are in the folder. But if you have movies in multiple folders, you have to change every time.
- This point is not directly related to the Blu-ray player, but should nevertheless be noted: So far, no LOVEFiLM app in Germany. In UK, there are this app for both LG and Samsung BD player. If you want to use this feature, then you should at least currently swirling rather on a Sony BD player
Conclusion:
Who can do without HDMI-CEC or has a Samsung TV and movies mainly on DVD / Bluray looks, I can recommend this player.
