On my flight from Frankfurt to Philadelphia yesterday I allowed myself this headset in the duty-free sales on-board, and the only thing I regret is that I have not done that much earlier. That would have saved me earlier on long-haul flights a lot of stress. Because that does this device: it de-stresses. Only once you have experienced the difference, you realize that the most strenuous is not cornered on a long-haul flight in Economy, but the noise. I have the "Hobbit" considered at the beginning of the flight, and only when I had this almost through, the duty-free sales (of not sooo much cheaper) came. From the "Hobbit" I understood about half and had to constantly change the volume, up and down again to mitzubekommen between the noisy action passages also some of the dialogues. When I was able to try it with the headset, which was really a difference like night and day. I then "Cloud Atlas" looked at me - very dialogue-heavy, and without the headset absolutely unthinkable. A real miracle happens when you use the headphones without a connection to in-flight entertainment. Heavenly peace! And over the small terrorist who before me his parents and half the Eco-cabin has driven to despair two rows, I could only smile also. Ok, I do not know, how long will the batteries last as long as the thing is a whole life, and how it sounds when I connect it to the iPad, or Blackberry. But I know now that I look forward to the return flight, because he will not be half as stressful as far always. I think I'll be watching the "Hobbit" again and understand all this time.
