From the beginning. In September 2014 I * i bought when Al a dehumidifier for 139 euros. Very modern, digital display, Luftanheizung, still only 380Watt. He enntfeutete wonderful day for me 4 liters. But he stank even after 3 weeks still beastly of plastic, and as then, just after the 3 weeks even started the fan to make a chirping noise (bearing damage?) I gave him back problems at the discounter.
I then ordered my Amazon to Trotek 75 S. I had here by reading the reviews and was prepared for some.
1 water tank can be used heavily. Right. Had I read. But it is so difficult I did not expect.
2. The part has no on-off switch. Right. Plug into the socket, has been running without a break, the fan.
3. It's really very quiet, despite rotary piston compressor. But far from the 40dB. I have at least 49dB measured fan on the lowest setting, compressor off. Nevertheless, this is still very quiet.
4. No digital display / setting. Just a rotation adjuster with Min and Max. Without its own hygrometer to get there no longer.
5. No air heating. Since the air during dehumidification is always cooled, it gets colder and colder in the room. That he has no air heating consumption of 330 watts is far too high. I go out on the nominal consumption. Det actual consumption is in practice at all dehumidifiers often much lower, because the compressor does not always running.
6. It does not work!
Two days ran it just fine. Then suddenly only very little water in the tank, a day later none at all more. The dehumidification Max stood up. I put him in the middle position, and then I had another four days water, but by the day wniger. Then none at all more. I turned the knob to Min. Again a few days something, but very little water, then none. Since I decided to return the unit.
The phenomenon that is suddenly no longer dehumidified at high dehumidification set had other reviews reported. Trotek had then indeed always shaken his head and stated proper functioning during inspections, but it seems to me that the device has a tendency to maybe described wrongdoing. And if that occurs after the return period, as has one after that the error was present from the very beginning? After the warranty period then you stand in the rain anyway. And, according to what I read in the reviews, seems Trotek deal sparingly with goodwill and service. What is apparent in the fact that I had to bear the costs of return of 13,90 euro itself ... Of course, it is in the law, but good companies, like Amazon, bear these costs.
The one star I forgive for the initially good work and the really low setting.
