The board itself is quite good for the price, but only suitable for overclocking. The culprit is mainly that only 4 phases for the CPU power available, so that the VRM (Voltage Regulation Module) or the MOSFETs / DC converter contained therein overheat too easily. So it is then means that although the CPU temperature is still in the acceptable range (about 75 ° at a TjMax of 105 °), the Termal Throttling is nevertheless activated because precisely the VRM is too hot. Other boards have here 8 or even more phases of power supply, whereby the load can be distributed more components, which of course the temperature for each component does not increase so much. In addition, the quality of the installed components does not seem to be necessarily high (see also here: [...] Moderate overclocks are certainly there, but you will ausreizen a k-CPU with this board probably can not. I could not in any event, and my 3570K is already relatively poor (something is often referred to as a "crutch").
Another minus point is that only a total of 3 (4) fan connectors are adjustable, and because the CPU fan is already included (consisting of 1x 3Pin and 4Pin 1x, both ports being but can only be controlled together). So you can only connect 2 additional fan. For the "control mode" again adequate, but at least one more it could have been. Especially since yet another connector sits on the board, but just not regulated is (PWR_FAN1).
All in all for the price certainly a good board, but who wants to overclock should not expect miracles here, and should rather choose a slightly more expensive board. But for the "normal" operation, it is certainly quite good.
