So I thought the bad reviews are from GT5 fanboys (which is true to a large extent) and if I buy the 2 part, I get more simply by the usual plus a few small enhancements ... how the maintenance of such is usual sequels.
If the developers of these simple rules continue shift had noticed that they had managed with ease to put Gran Turismo race simulation series than in the shadows, as Shift 1 really is a solid game on which one could build.
Unfortunately, one has just knocked everything ...
Graphically, Shift has deteriorated significantly, which can be seen on the trees and verwascheneren generally at much textures of the game world. Which is a problem of the console versions is mainly because EA has apparently messed up to take your time and to the nidrigere system performance of the consoles makes sense to adapt the graphic, because clearly more would have been possible. It just makes a lot of broken play when all the time these muddy and in addition also still flickering textures can be seen from the trees, which look more like what one morning from the bronchi chokes when you're cold NEM brown stalk. Also, the structure of the menus looks dreary and disdainful and is a bit confusing, everything was somehow stripped down, but the main thing is the Formula Drift champion hampelt cutscenes by any. because EA is clearly wrong priorities.
From handling her the second part hardly distinguishes from 1 which is good, because a little difficult to learn, but really
realistic-looking control Personally I like very well.
Many people complain about the poor shift in control, partly simply is only because they can be iritieren by name Need for Speed too. Shift is intended as a realistic simulation, which are also totally different developer, if you now of course an arcade racer expected, then you will not be happy with the gameplay and should rather be titles like Hot Pursuit or Split Second Velocity grab.
The cars could build up if one with 150 km / h to rear tables serpentine appears some reviewers probably to be completely new, I think as a 13 year old who has never sat steering wheel behind a right, you should refrain from comments about Real driving physics, which was lacking just the necessary experience to judge something like this.
The claim to the player of this series is set very high you should already quite a bit of patience and practice in the game and possibly invest a few euros in a lankrad. Star the game only 1 to give because one obviously is a poor player who does not want to practice evidence already of a certain weakness of character.
When it comes to the realism depend both parts of shift GT5 without mercy from the engines and kolisionssound is credible driveability simulated many aspects from real life as the swaying the track and the tarmac come themselves much more real over, as well as smaller bumps are felt and not as in GT5 simply a plan smoothly polished asphalt texture overflown.
New and really better there is little aside from the larger fleet and stretch some more. The new helmet camera is a nice treat for me but not really matter.
I can not at all really make up my mind whether currently GT5 or Shift 2 is the bigger disappointment.
GT5 has since I was expecting a lot and I am fallen for the hype really disappointed me in every aspect. Shift 2 has geschaft deliver on the ps3 a really ugly graphics.
When racing sims one is left as a PS3 owner currently depend genuine.
Those who still want to buy a race simulation for its PS3 that I can recommend cheaper mitlerweile 1st part of shift what truly absurd anhöhrt but the way it is, unfortunately. EA has delivered with Shift 2 simply crap.
I any case, put my hope in the coming racer Dirt. 3
