Ramboah, ey!

Impressive is Goldsmith with the music - really "First Blood II Rambo". Essentially Goldsmith relies on subjects that he has composed for the first film. This is firstly a pentatonic motif that appears in many of the numerous action sequences of the film, on the other hand it is the vocal piece "It's a Long Road", which can be heard during the end credits of part 1 (who the movie only in has seen television, is therefore possibly not even know). As instrumental piece it appeared even in the first part already here and there, in the sequel but makes Goldsmith the play the dominant musical theme (a prime example is the highly dramatic "Escape from Torture"). Compared to the music of the first part Goldsmith also sets a more percussion and synthesizers; ever sounds the soundtrack to continue across the board a little punchier and more massive than the first "Rambo" -Adventure - as if each musician of the National Philharmonic Orchestra promised the composer, yet each bring a second man who also plays an instrument ,
A bit is probably also due to the technical side of the production of this impression. "First Blood Part II - Rambo" is clearly more Hall received than its predecessor, and it probably comes more advanced recording technology for use as still in 1982 "First Blood" soundtrack - "original multi-track recordings mixed analog to Sony digital in 1610 system ": after all, so is already the second of three letters, which identify the recording technique, a" D ". Whether the film is the soundtrack justice, is again an entirely different question.

With a playing time of almost exactly 45 minutes, the CD moves in a good for a soundtrack release from the 80s midfield; more playing time has probably not be, because the soundtrack scores with good sound rather than a large variety of topics. Fans of the composer found in "First Blood Part II - Rambo" perhaps the best action from the pen Score Jerry Goldsmith. Long stretches of the music for the second part, although only a rehash of the music for the first part - but it also is served piping hot and the cups in XXL format.
As on the album for the first "Rambo" movie there's also here a vocal piece. Here it says "Peace in Our Life" and is unfortunately only a piece that you have packed instead of worth listening to songs on the CD. That it has ever done that St + Ueck on the CD, there is probably only the fact that it is the Lord who here must try as a singer this to be the brother of the main character: Brother Frank is not heavy, he's Sly's.
