First time I asked myself the question:
-> "Worth it at all a laptop / netbook for a student if I have a PC at home?"
-> "What is more appropriate for a student laptop, Sublaptop, netbook?"
After längerm Think and Learn I'm looking for a netbook (Samsung N220 Marvel-Plus) decided what I regret in any way.
Samsung N220 Marvel-Plus (Green):
+ Netbook is ideal for lectures even if the writing surface is small fits loosely even a netbook and a college block out.
+ Battery holds loose 2-3 long days by students (with Wireless and co)
+ Speed of the netbook has surprised me (Office 2007, Paralle applications)
+ Fan can not be heard
+ Netbook is even after several hours not hot (notebook undersides are mostly hot right)
+ Tastertur is well made (as PC users you have to kinda get used tortzdem)
+ Videos with 480p (eg Youtube) still run smoothly without any problems
+ Windows 7 runs well and fast and is good for a normal user capable [!! even if people always against Windows atmosphere make !!]
+ Good display
+/- The "green" the netbook is barely visible, looks more completely black, which does not bother me
- Have took me only times two hours to set up the laptop very sensible because massive "Software garbage" such as Norton "Demo" and div Samsung programs preinstalled.
- Surface susceptible to fingerprints
Conclusion:
- The Samsung N220 Marvel-Plus is well suited for a student to work for and to read along Scripts etc. Programs like Office 2007 running all Easy and surprisingly fast, just like Google Chrome or the like. Wireless Internet is super fast in the lecture halls. In addition, the netbook is lightweight and portable. !! An absolute buy recommendation !!
