The image is razor sharp, the contrast really well and the colors almost as real as the good tube device that has been calibrated!
+ Care (supplemented in July 2010)
The monitor is easy to clean. We clean it with a special spray for TFT monitors. It looks like the first day. Minimum deductions there, because the base of the monitor is a real dust catchers and we often have to advance with the times duster.
+ Angle (updated in July 2010)
When changing the angle of view we can register only slight changes. In other TFT monitors these were much stronger. Deviates its own position and thus the view clearly from the frontal view from (more than 45 degrees), the picture remains nevertheless still legible.
+ Menu
The menu system is easy to knit and is self-explanatory. The keys for the monitor settings are arranged easily accessible on the front.
+ Plug-and-Play
Set connect, resolution in the PC desktop menu and your done.
+ Stability
The foot is simple but good. The first tilt tests landed repeatedly on said foot.

The Asus monitor is guaranteed not win a design competition. But why? He is simply black and shiny. Who sets the light unfavorable, could have reflections on the frame or foot.
- Connections
The monitor ports are - pardon - attached real stupid. Of course you can sit at the back, but really inconvenient: Man (n) actually need delicate woman hands to connect the VGA cable. However, you do not have so constantly change the cable, so that this point is rather negligible.
- Labeling
The label of the menu buttons is only for clairvoyant. Regardless of the "normal" lighting - whether daylight or fluorescent light - in any case you need a desktop or flashlight that shines directly on the menu buttons. Otherwise you can really only guess the label. Again: If the setting once true, you can not change it so every day ...

We would like to buy a monitor with a larger display. But the significant shortcomings of other devices could only mean one thing: We take the Asus. The company has already convinced us in the past with various products (from the motherboard to the drive).
Given the superior image and the really low price of this quality, there must be five points !!!
