Re-entry to the New 3DS XL

Since I have to re-get after several years of break feel like a handheld console with Pokemon Ruby Omega remake one of my favorite editions was available, I wanted to get a 3DS. First question was, of course XL or Normal? Quick, the choice fell on the XL version. Then I discovered the New3DSXL. Although the difference in price was available, but because I wanted to be prepared for future Games, I opted for the New version.

First impression was very positive. I had never had a 3DS in my hand and had therefore never been able to see the 3D effect. And I must say I was already impressed. It already looks really great, such a game with 3D effects. Of course this is only a kind of gimmick, because you do not necessarily need to play.
After I had set everything went the play already. The 3DS XL is well in hand, is not too heavy and not too light. You get no unpleasant feeling when playing times longer.
The buttons are all easily accessible and have a pleasant pressure points. For the shift stick I'm still looking for an alternative with small knobs. Mir is the standard stick a little too slippery. A rougher surface would please me better there.
The battery life can I find fine. If you can not continuously run the 3D effect, then the time is quite in order. Full 3D effect makes natural that the battery is quickly empty.
To feel it is possible to conclude by saying that it is fun. There is little that I would criticize it. Only the stick is a bit disturbing, because of the smooth surface, which is also a subjective perception.

The only slight Kritiküunkt is slightly loose upper screen. I've already read that it was deliberately constructed so as to protect the hinges, but the differences in equipment are quite large as I've found. My unit also has a relatively large margin, it disturbs me not so much so but you could communicate this better.
