Because of the many positive comments that can be read on the net about 5 watches Seiko, I now have an added myself. It should be something special - why is this model that loose the Blancpain "Fifty Fathom" nachemfunden with Jacques Cousteau ran around in the 60's (sponge). Therefore, even those opposed to the product description, English / French daily display instead of English / German maybe? :-) Nevertheless, for that there are half a star deduction. The other half of the star goes for the missing manual winding and seconds Stop flutes, which should have an automatic at the price already. Invicta with the Seiko NH 35 factory can ... On the other hand when it comes to processing and publication of the clock, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. The housing with its unusual bulbous shape is round (except for the tops of the horns) super high-gloss polished - with the most beautiful polish that I've seen so far. Likewise, the sides of the belt and the folding clasp. Even the ring nut of the soil (in the center's glass) shines in the highest gloss. Likewise, noble acts which glasshouse labeling of Lunette (I hope it's really glass) rotating clean with 120 catches. The watch glass is slightly arched, hands and indices glistening silver, are very easy to read and the light coating is very effective. Day and date in the silver frame are small but legible, unusual here, the white text on black background. A screw-down does not exist here. The 10 bar tightness so probably not enough to dive, even if the clock looks like. Even a jump from the 5m board I would not recommend. But for washing hands, showering, etc it was good enough. Also, I've found that they are very nice runs exactly it is going just a few seconds / day. This is really good for such a simple large series movement. Shortening the band went very easy, an indication of the precision in the manufacture. Also a fine adjustment to the clasp is available. The clock wears very well, is not too hard on the arm (152g having a reduced band). The clock comes in a stylish white casket with velvet interior that looks really classy. And there are - almost a rarity - a detailed use and maintenance instructions. As I said, small flaws ... On the other hand, who else already has a clock with French weekdays? And if someone asks, then that's just because of Jacques Cousteau .... ;-)
