As soon as you turn on the fell to quite unexpected sharp display, which dissolves with 1280x800 pixels. Odys-typical the displays are indeed for some time quite well, but the Wintab sets as new standards. Compared to my androids of Odys streets ahead!
After setup, installation of various security tools (Spybot S & D, AVG Antivirus), a Start menu replacement and spaßenshalber the gaming platform Steam and natural gescheitem browser (Opera), I still can not detect any performance degradation. The quad-core in conjunction with the meager 1GB RAM seemed to have not yet reached their limits. So: Stress Test ...
GTA Vice City, GTA 3, 3DMark06, virus scan, Youtube videos, FullHD movies, everything had to play ..
To my surprise the tablet all this work mastered almost perfectly. The 3DMark was there but too much of a good thing (1300 points), Youtube and Facebook games mastered the instrument, at 1080p but then it came to its limits. This I have also tested only once at Youtube. In contrast, the full HD movies run perfectly without wobbling, bucking and dropouts.
GTA can also play, lack of gamepad / keyboard I have this but not a long way.
Until now, a really good unit!
Unfortunately, it also has weaknesses:
The touchscreen is not responding often, sometimes you have to press and hold (not too long, which is then a right-click). Mostly you have to also start a little above the desired target finger. When you get used to it, but to get along well with it. In addition, you can make do by mouse and keyboard is there. This works wonders.
So the work is really fun!
Behaviourless the Wintab has recognized the Mouse and I could start right away. Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, it is also possible to connect a tablet keyboard via USB which goes of course, there came with an appropriate cable.
Once past the peripherals problems behind him, still leaves open the question of how to operate the machine with a mouse / keyboard when the battery capacity drawing to a close. Since the tablet only has a USB jack, here a cable is required, which supports OTG and simultaneously provide the tablet with electricity. Such a cable I found for about 5 on eBay.
External hard drive took it that it was possible to work then. SD card also works, you should also insert because about 5-7GB memory (after installing all the critical software) are somewhat limited.

In summary, the tablet is really a hit, virtually unbeatable for the price.

If now is not the 10 "version (the IFA), which is also slightly better equipped, but it hardly costs (200eu), Odys is on the right track. With the Wintab they have proven that they never sell cheap products.
