was Bankstein with my set double-sided, one side with 1000 grit, the other with 300 grit! very pleasantly surprised, since according to the description actually only on one side. Here was the set so obviously touched up!
the honing guide is also a dream! only one screw and one is felt 20x adjust faster than when using the Veritas mk 2! moreover this is much more stable and chisel (eg 6mm) terminals bombs fixed and can not break out sideways as the mk2 it occurs.
the liquid came with me but not in a spray bottle, but in a vial without atomizer. I think now is not so optimal as well as no big deal.
My personal tip: can this set only recommend! especially should refrain grit on Waterstones to 1000, but since these break down badly and you often abrichtet than you can grind it. Grit at 8,000, 16,000 or even 32,000 comes as a diamond plate then of course no longer with, as a Wasserstein, but then also degrades not much material is advisable then again as more polished than is ground.
so I have now found my dream combination: 300 & 1000 grit diamond, 3000.8000 and 16000 grit Wasserstein. And the leather for polishing is set also still doing what really produces extremely reflective secondary phase.
Am happy and my plane and chisel are always sharpened in a trice.
