First the positive:
From the Control Panel, I consider it (even though it should be getting used to for beginners, with the Academy but quite easy to learn) well managed and implemented logically. Here Comes
closer to reality than, say, VT. The graphics are top, the real role models usually implemented very well in the pros as well as the stadiums - unfortunately Wimbledon is incidentally still Dublin, for whatever reason. Slow Motion is available after each rally and good that you can also set the tone for when you create the own player then the behavior (gestures, facial expressions) determined on wins, losses rallies, more specifically 3 different choices. You can also display a variety of match statistics, as well as statistics on the general habit of game players themselves (eg what percentage consisted of the profit beats of volleys)
Now for the weaknesses:
For me the tournament / World Rankings system is not realistic. Here does not qualify you for a particular category of the tournament by a specified required minimum place in the ranking, as it actually is the case in reality with the ATP. Rather, you must acquire a certain status such as youngster, Star, etc. to you also only get if you have, inter alia, a certain number of fans. That does not make me.
What unfortunately neither realistic (with respect. Normal difficulty), the opponents at tournaments always play at a consistently the same level and from every Grand Slam semi-final the same opponent so suddenly act as if they had taken the potion of Panoramix, go much faster, much faster pace and more accurately in the beating (and the increase is already well above most extraordinary days form out!). Is lost for me the weakest point of the game, not only as the sense of an adjustable difficulty level, it also has to do with real tennis little because that would be playing in the real world as if Nadal in eg master tournaments in the strength of an amateur and only from each Grand Slam semifinal occur with conventional professional strength.
The own player must also, however, make do with the usual armor, even 1. Power ups are rarely over 150 km / h out (although titled in the highest maximum possible level and as a supplement specialist) and the spins usually act with a long backswing ( long press on B before then let go in time) more like Schupfer and have little to do with professional spins.
Nevertheless, Top Spin 4 All in all probably the currently best tennis simulation, it's just a shame that here not by accident but from a me not ergründlichen intention out things were built the realism (and I think the claim will yet have any tennis simulation also ?) do an abortion. Regarding the logic involved in any career I found that for the most part even Top Spin 2 better (although since the artificial induced hostility was contrived with the nearest countryman in the rankings a bit by the hair again)
