Sim Cards:
If no further settings are made on the SIM card, the phone asks, with which sim card function to be executed.
Example: A phone number is entered and pressed the 'Select' button '. The phone asks if Sim1 or Sim2 to use for the call.
This must then select and confirm.
Another convenient feature is the adjustment in the can be set, for example, that all calls to go beyond Sim1. Once set, you must not choose for future calls between Sim1 or Sim2.
E-mail accounts:
If you enter the entries exactly as the email purports provider, it works just fine. The establishment and use of multiple e-mail accounts without problems.
Restrictions:
This I have found, especially when assigning ringtones to contacts / groups of contacts. In my experience, this works only when Sim1.
All my contacts are in the phone memory. My expectation was that I contact correlating a ring tone that is then listen immmer - regardless of the conversation input on Sim1 or Sim2. For calls to Sim2 this is unfortunately not the case - although can be different ringtones for Sim1 and Sim2 choose, but it is at Sim2 then always the same ringtone. A differentiation of ringtones for contacts not carried out at Sim2.
Perhaps there is this a trick - am grateful for any information.
Other:
Processing is fine, keyboard has a precise pressure point, size and weight are very pleasant, USB connection is missing. Also missing side volume keys - the volume is adjusted on the directional pad, which in my view is not a disadvantage. All other functions (games, web browser, other programs) I have not tried, because absolutely no interest to me. I suspect that these are comparable to other Nokia S40 mobile phones.
Battery:
I have a mobile phone only for one day - but I have yesterday's day herumprobiert several hours, settings.The changes, heard music. When the battery indicator is reliable (only 1 of 4 bar consumed), but one can assume that the runtime of each smartphone surpasses by far.
Conclusion:
Who mainly looking for a cheap and very well-made dual sim mobile phone to make calls mainly, but also fast times would get a few e-mails, which I can highly recommend the Asha 206. Value for money is great.
Update 22.11.2013:
I am still excited - especially the dual SIM function corresponds to what I had hoped for. A (negative) feature is the fact that not all of them are in-ear headphones compatible with Asha 206. Meanwhile, I have tried many different brands, and even though the mobile phone has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, and though some headphones indicate compatibility with Nokia phones, so I have found only one compatible model, namely Philips SHE9000 home Ear Headphones. If anyone knows more compatible in-ear headsets, I am pleased to inform us.
Update 8/13/2014:
Unfortunately, my unit has adopted - after I had turned it off, it was easy to not turn. My experience with mobile / smartphone that guarantee requests are almost always denied after a period of 6 months, because of the errors due to corrosion / moisture has emerged and is thus self-inflicted. Given the very low price, especially because I did not want to spend without a mobile phone, the possible repair time, I bought about 2 months ago, the Nokia Asha 301 Dual-Sim as a substitute.
The use and the properties of both phones are in my opinion absolutely comparable, where I have the following advantages / disadvantages found.
Benefits:
The camera fires better (3 megapixels instead 1.3 at 206)
A2DP - the sound transmission via Bluetooth is high quality (the 206 has no A2DP)
The build quality is a bit better - I mean that's 301 a little better protected against dust.
Disadvantage:
The battery life is low, and I (the week about 3 times) about a week I'm on a single charge with permanently activated Bluetooth and 1-2 calls / day and occasional e-mail retrieval.
Other advantages / disadvantages I could not tell.
