My original cable has finally given up the ghost after three years. Because I think it's naughty for a new original Asus Netbookkabel to demand 40, I have decided after a few clicks and in spite of some negative reviews for this cable.

So far everything is going great; the power supply is not nearly warm, runs silently and all connectors are bombproof. The set is pure white with no yellowing.
