Refreshing new and yet traditional!

In my opinion, this work of Britney has succeeded through and through. There is no title on the album I do not like, on the contrary, every song is interesting and prepared orginell in his own way.

From the music style I would "Circus" as a sort of mixture or fusion between the last year published album "Blackout" and the earlier works of Brit, such as "Oops! I did it again ..." or "In the Zone ", describe.
This album would theoretically both the old fans as well as the newly added with Blackout fans liked. That in practice this is not always the case, quite a few reviews show alone here on Amazon. For my part I can only say that I rate this balancing act to be extremely successful.

Blackout struck me as very buoyant and soulless without proper substance and it seemed to me as sprung from a cool futuristic world. Nevertheless, I have to say objectively that the album is not bad and certainly offers good songs with respect to any Blackout fans.
Still convinced me Circus far more what lies on both the better vocal performance of Britney as well as to the diversity of the individual pieces of music.
So show about 3-4 songs a similarity to pieces from blackout (eg Kill the Light, Womanizer), while other songs to music again technically more like Brits heed works based (eg Shattered Glass, If U Seek Amy).
But I should also mention that experimented with new sounds and thus an advancement over earlier works can be seen. The best examples of this experimentation are for me the
Pieces "MMM Papi" and "Lace and Leather".

In general I feel "Circus" as far richer and more natural than "Blackout", which is not least also that are on the album, a few quite listenable ballads.

I would like to take this opportunity to again particularly commend the bonus tracks "Rock Me" and "Phonography" that have failed for Bonus Tracks surprisingly high quality. The same applies to the bonus tracks "Amnesia" and "Quicksand" that have it but not incomprehensibly managed to Deluxe editions in Europe and the US.

Finally, I can issue a strong buy recommendation to all those who want both Britney Spears and her former music album "Blackout" for this album. All others should prefer to play it safe and before auditioning! Especially for those who "Blackout" perceived as a revelation, "Circus" could represent a step backwards ....
For my part I can only say: Britney is back and better than ever!
