I can only agree with the previous speakers. The game is really exceptional. Actually amazing that it took so long, until someone came out the idea rauszunehmen the cards luck in the deck building games. To be able at any time to access all of the cards does not sound so special, but ensures that Mage Wars plays completely different from all other games of this genre.
The thick rulebook also suggests already that the game is complex. And that's it. However, in a good way: It is not unnecessarily complicated but gives players just a wide range of options and endless tactical opportunities.
If you like strategy games with so deckbuilding and can not be put off by high complexity, should definitely risk a look.
