Relevant for mobile use .... on vacation, for example

In general, this multimedia hard drive is well designed and meets the needs of a strictly mobile use, for one (or people) who want to share the same content between different devices (smartphones / tablets mainly).
Indeed, the device comes in a very compact and occupy a minimum volume in a bag. The setting should not cause any difficulties to a person accustomed to such operations.

Personally, I use it mainly to store videos in 720p. I can see the Xperia Z2 simultaneously from a tablet and Galaxy S4 smartphone, without the slightest lag during playback.

I only note two caveats. The first relates to the write speeds, frankly mediocre both via USB and via WIFI. The second concerns the slot for the SD card: the removal of the card is a delicate operation on my copy.

Too bad, because this play function of SD cards (for multimedia content: photos and videos) is just a good idea. With more interesting options than just a memory expansion ... for example, review the photos that a friend has stored on an SD card. Only the rather laborious removing SD cards is quite unacceptable ...
