The Scotch mending tape is almost a classic. With respect to tightness, adhesion and weather resistance of the product is absolutely nothing to complain about. It adheres to almost all substrates and closes at room temperature by itself. I have it mounted for example on a lick drainpipe and there now dripping nothing. An accidentally severed and then correct the pole in incorrect / connected power cables of a lawnmower I have just sealed it. The cable I can now continue mowing without fear of a short pull through the grass (if this should perhaps be a little wet).
One should properly expend train when you wrap, then the Scotch tape adheres bombproof. Per tear hand however, it remains, for the material is simply too hard. So use scissors or cutter.
All in all a super product. If only there were not the extremely high price. Around 12 EUR for 3 meter band are already an announcement. Already have an extended bands of Gorilla and Tesa used, which were good but cheaper similar.
