Even boiled potatoes, pasta, rice, sauces well within its capabilities. Good for pasta and sauce is the two-part cooking set. In "cover" / small pan I prepare first to the sauce. Place them aside and cook the pasta. If these do I pour off the water. Then I mix in large saucepan with the sauce. The now lukewarm sauce gives to the hot pasta perfect eating temperature. The size is perfect for a person! Two are definitely not tired at once and you have to cook twice.
