Climax Blues Band is a group that I know well and which I owned several LPs in which this 'Shine On'. Already, this excellent album was hitherto virtually untraceable CD. Often disappointed by the first analog / digital conversions, waiting feverishly delivery. Today I am delighted, RA-VI! I found this 'remaster' quality of the original work. This is the second time that the publisher 'Directory' bluffing me so by making me find the emotions of the discovery of vinyl. The orchestration of great wealth and very sharp mix (type West Coast) are perfectly rendered here, bravo. In the band's discography, this album is pretty close to the 'Gold Plated', and if you like Climax B. Band, do not deprive yourself of it. FYI the group started with a pure blues deemed directory (Climax Chicago Blues Band and became Climax Blues Band) and gave free rein to his inspiration by varying rock, funk, groove. This allows us to discover real good musicians with warm tone (Colin Cooper on sax and vocals), all supported by riffs' funky / groovy (Peter Haycock on guitar) to the inspiration constantly renewed. One more title on the CD that is the radio edit version of (shorter) of the first title. The analog / digital conversion would she finally emerged from adolescence to enter maturity? Listening equipment: Platinum Rotel RCD-06 Marantz PM6005 integrated amplifier and speakers Celestion A1 (4 ohms).
